TRAVEL MITES

Our travel Mites started the winning streak on Friday with a 7-0 win over host Charleston.
Saturday, they beat a strong Atlanta Fire team 8-2 and went on to defeat the Cape Fear FireAntz 7-0 on Sunday morning.
In the Championship, they again faced the Atlanta Fire and swept the tournament with another shutout...this time 6-0.
Connor Gatto and Darren Mahin lead the scoring while the defense and goalie Jackson Hester played an awesome tournament with only 2 goals against!

TRAVEL SQUIRTS (A Div.)

Our travel squirts started off slowly with a 5-3 loss to a tough Duluth Jr. Thrasher team on Friday evening.
They bounced back Saturday with a 10-7 victory over the Columbia Cyclones followed by a 7-4 victory over the Greenville Growl on Sunday morning.
Then they met and beat the host team Charleston Wolverines in an early Monday semi-final 6-1 which put them into the final against the Duluth Jr. Thrashers (who beat them Friday)
In a close, tough match in the finals the Thrashers and Cudas were tied 5-5 at the end of regulation. During the 3-on-3 sudden death overtime, the Cudas' Meyer, Musa, Gatto line continued their fighting tenacity with a battle in the Thrasher's goal crease that ended with the puck in the net and a Cudas victory!

TRAVEL PEEWEES (A Div.)

Our Peewees began the tournament with a solid victory over host Charleston 4-3 on Friday evening.
Saturday, the Peewees defeated a solid Kennesaw (Atlanta) Jr. Thrashers team 9-0 and then went on to defeat the Duluth (Atlanta) Jr Thrashers 5-1 on Sunday evening.
The Monday finale featured the Cudas against the tough Kennesaw Jr. Thrashers again. The Thrashers changed their gameplan to make it a highly physical game, but the Cudas adjusted and prevailed with a 7-2 Championship victory!
Goals for: 25 Goals against: 5 Record for tournament: UNDEFEATED!!!
